As angry as I get at fate and the universe, sometimes it throws you a bone right when you need it. I needed that random-less meeting at just that moment, and am so thankful for those very brief moments that I was able to reconnect with someone very important to me and pray that I will have more of them in the future.

I don't know exactly what life is all about, or why we are here - I am still trying to figure it out. People say I am crazy sometimes when I tell them how I live life, but when this is over, I want to know that I went as far as I could for those I love and that we enjoyed every minute of it. I that notion rubs off on my children, everyone I love, and everyone who reads this.

Peace is something that anyone can attain because it comes from within, not from outside. When you realize that the only thing you can truly control is yourself and your reactions, finding it is much easier.

So, for anyone out there who needs to hear this, “a narcissist is capable of acting out love.” They are also capable of using it to control and manipulate you to behave in a specific way. A narcissist is even capable of seeing when you have had enough that you are going to walk away and then change their behavior. It has NOTHING to do with you, your love, traits, kindness, outer appearance, personality, capacity to love.

Sometimes it feels like everyone is watching a streaming series without you, but they can’t put their lives on hold. People aren’t leaving you behind, illness keeping you stuck. It isn’t your fault and it isn’t their's, but at times, that is harder than having someone to blame.

Sometimes we need to change things about ourselves, upgrade, if you will, alter things that we don’t like, and leave backpacks of emotions behind that we no longer wish to carry, but we can’t leave ourselves behind. 

When I booked the home on the beach, I realized that it was very “cheap” not even inexpensive, but there were ten-star reviews. In my haste to book, I didn’t see how many stars, which I usually do. But something kept telling me that it was too good to be true.

Pleasers understand that without the concern and care of others, what they think, and helping to make sure people are cared for, the world would be a terribly horrible, cold, callous, and ugly place. It would be a world we would all wear clear glasses and nothing else. 

We all have a notion of what “picture perfect” is, but those can cloud our vision and stop us from seeing perfection in things that seem to be anything but perfect.

There is a plan for everything and even if we don’t understand it at the time, we always find out in the end. When things don’t go your way, it might be because you’re heading down the path for something so much greater than you dreamed of.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the big picture, we forget about living in the here and now. When we find gratitude in the small things, life becomes much more joyous.

Some people are famous for all the wrong reasons. For anyone who is struggling with someone else telling of your character, remember this, it speaks to their character and it has NOTHING to do with your character as a person.

Don’t get so caught up in life that you miss seeing the extraordinary right in front of you. Pink skies are our reminder that there is beauty all around.
